School Summary
Centreville Elementary strives to Be The Best It Can Be! As a community of learners, every child and adult is considered an essential contributor to our mission. Centreville elementary is a diverse and inclusive community of learners dedicated to achievement, cooperation and creative expression.

The school is a vibrant and secure place where students are encouraged to take risks and where effort is celebrated. Staff members continue to explore and implement elements of the Basic School framework for school improvement, focusing on a commitment to character and creating a curriculum with coherence. Centreville is no stranger to innovation as evidenced in its current efforts to implement the Professional Learning Community (PLC) model. CES is a leader in developing inclusive instructional strategies for students with disabilities.

An active PTA supports cultural arts, publications, and learning enrichment activities such as field trips, special projects, equipment and materials purchases, and after-school programs. The school houses a very special school bell, purchased by Centreville students in the 1920s for the original Centreville School. It is a symbol of the connections to the past, present, and future community of learners of Centreville Elementary.
