School Summary
Clifton Elementary School is situated on a beautiful 13 acre site, known as Cardinal Hill, above the very quaint and historic town of Clifton in the southwest corner of Fairfax County. The school is well known, not only locally, but throughout all of Fairfax County for the excellent achievement and high expectations for students. All of Clifton’s students are offered an enriched curriculum with opportunities to stretch and grow.
The school motto of Clifton Elementary School is Believe and Achieve. The very nurturing, dedicated and enthusiastic staff members of Clifton embrace this motto. The entire school staff guides students to be superior students, as well as caring, thoughtful, and responsible citizens.
The PTA at Clifton Elementary is very supportive of the needs of staff members and students. All staff members appreciate the generosity of the PTA. Staff members are also deeply appreciative of the many parent volunteers who give up their time to help the students and the staff.
The staff of Clifton Elementary is a community of learners who work in a collegial and professional manner to advance the mission of the school and see that all students grow as learners and citizens. We know that successful students learn both at school and at home, and we know that a partnership between the families of Clifton students and the school’s staff benefits everyone.
