Staff members and community members of Oak Hill Elementary School are committed to providing students with a challenging curriculum in a safe, nurturing learning environment. The school mission is to offer students a comprehensive instructional program that will enable them to be successful lifelong learners. The school community is also committed to consistently maintaining high standards for students' academic performance and behavior.

Oak Hill's school plan sets goals for staff members and students in specific curriculum areas. Teachers have the responsibility for working collaboratively with the administration of Oak Hill to assess student progress and program results and to design an instructional program that meets the needs of students. Students are provided with the knowledge and strategies to work effectively with other people.

Academic and interpersonal relations expectations for students are high. In partnership with the community, a school environment is created that challenges each child to develop to his or her full potential. The school has established a reputation as a superior school.
