School Summary
Westfield High School opened its doors in September of 2000 as the 24th high school in Fairfax County. Recognized for its award winning design and located on a 159-acre site in Chantilly, the building promotes a safe and creative learning environment for students and faculty, and encourages community involvement. Westfield offers a rigorous academic program and is an Honors high school. Advanced computer technology and equipment enhance the academic program. Special features include a photography lab, a fully equipped TV studio, four separate computer labs and a publications lab. Students are encouraged to choose from a comprehensive array of extra- and co-curricular activities. Numerous clubs are available for students to explore academic and recreational interests providing a sense of community within the student body.
