School Summary
Mount Eagle ES provides high quality instruction and a school climate in which learning is paramount and cultural diversity is valued. Staff members are dedicated to working collaboratively to meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of our students. An inclusive and collaborative team approach provides planning of differentiated instruction in all content areas to meet the individual learning needs of all students. Mount Eagle's target in reading is to create self-determined readers, whose love of reading helps promote academic success in all areas.
Community volunteers and business partnerships are an integral part of Mount Eagle’s success. Students benefit from an established business partnership with the United States Coast Guard and a faith-based partnership with Calvary Presbyterian Church’s Eagles Wings Tutoring Program. Mount Eagle’s students will continue to achieve academic success through coordinated school and community efforts such as these.
