School Summary
Clermont Elementary School has held a very special place in the hearts and minds of the Clermont community for over 30 years. Our faculty and staff members have established, for Clermont, a tradition of academic excellence, student integrity, and community partnerships. At Clermont, we are committed to excellence and strive to prepare all of our students for life in the 21st century by providing them with an education that is balanced, challenging, and integrated with the arts and technology.

Our students use technology throughout the school day in their classrooms and have the opportunity to bring Dana, Neo, Alphasmart word processing equipment home with them to support out of classroom learning. Our two mobile labs and our digital learning lab with its SMARTBOARD serve to enhance grade-level curriculums through the interactive instruction and active learning experiences provided by our teachers.

A strong sense of community spirit is woven into our school culture. Our parents and business partnerships support our students, teachers, staff, and school by providing increased human and financial resources that support our enrichment, remediation, and extracurricular programs and clubs. Our PTA has enriched and expanded our students’ learning through the creation of an digital learning lab, an outdoor learning garden called The Eagles Nest, distance learning field trips in our library, and cultural assemblies throughout the school year.

Our motto, Clermont School, Where Lifelong Learning Begins, supports our school and community's desire for students and teachers to learn and work in a caring and inclusive school climate. All students practice the character traits of cooperation, acceptance, responsibility and effort through our, C.A.R.E. character education program. These core values foster a positive school climate in which each and every student can reach their highest level of academic potential and continue Clermont’s tradition of excellence in education for all.
