School Summary
Hayfield's mission is to provide a rigorous and challenging educational program emphasizing instructional technology infusion, connections to real-world issues through academic analyses, connections to potential employers and internship experiences, such as the Human Anatomy and Physiology internships, and development of skills that will be transferable in post-secondary academic studies or professional trade environments after graduation. Our professional staff is continuously involved in staff development to identify the latest and most effective educational strategies. Faculty seek to mentor and guide Hayfield's young people through a vast variety of experiences including more than 50 clubs and organizations, Virginia High School League athletic opportunities, and advanced studies in AP College Board approved coursework. We are proud of our students’ accomplishments and the support of our community for our world-class learning environment.
