    School Summary
Springfield Estates ES opened its doors in 1958 and added a 10 room expansion in 1968. The school serves a diverse population with programs such as English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), Family and Early Childhood Education program (FECEP), an Advanced Academic Center, an inclusive practices service delivery model for special education students, and exciting opportunities for problem solving and using critical thinking skills for all students. A strong character education program and school-wide morning meetings support the development of positive and responsible behavior.

Continuous improvement….tomorrow's challenges. Most classrooms are equipped with SmartBoards and students use laptop computers. A well organized Strategies Lab provides regular opportunities for students to develop thinking skills using competitive and collaborative games.

School activities such as Reading Buddies, Eagle Math Wizards, Pi Day, Peer Mediation, MentorWorks, Wee Deliver Postal System, Family Nights and various cultural events promote student involvement in learning. An active PTA and dedicated volunteers are valued partners in providing a quality education for all students.
