School Summary
The mission of Washington Irving Middle School is to help every student reach his/her potential. Irving is dedicated to “Building a Community of Learners”. As a school, we are committed to preparing all students to meet and exceed state and federally mandated academic requirements while instilling a life long love of learning. We will help promote the social/emotional growth of our students and empower them to be productive citizens in our community. Irving’s core values and beliefs are centered around the following concepts: - P.R.I.D.E. - Through various programs and initiatives, we are committed to develop P.R.I.D.E. (Personal Responsibility In Daily Effort) in our students.
- T.E.A.M. - Through various programs and initiatives, Washington Irving Middle School is committed to develop T.E.A.M. (Together Everyone Achieves More) with our staff and students.
- Student Success - Through a systematic approach, we believe that all students can be successful.
