School Summary
Parklawn Elementary provides a world class education for all of its students who come from 37 countries and who speak 34 different languages. It is an exciting place for children to learn and grow. The staff is committed to the best in instructional practice, thereby ensuring high academic standards and a vision for developing the citizens of tomorrow. Each grade level has at least one mobile lab, with computer stations and Smartboard technology in every classroom. Unique program models enable staff members to immediately identify the needs of each individual and to adapt instruction accordingly. Parklawn's grade-level and instructional teams collaborate continuously to identifying student and program needs and to design effective goals and stategies to meet those needs.The focus is on a rigorous program model to enrich student learning.
