J.E.B. Stuart High School is located in east-central Fairfax County near the Seven Corners and Lake Barcroft areas. Stuart is a comprehensive high school with an international student body and a world class curriculum. Two-thirds of its students are second language learners from over 70 countries. The faculty is dedicated to providing a wide variety of classroom experiences designed to meet the needs of its diverse population. Students may participate in the Advancement Via Individual Determination Program (AVID), International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program (MYP), the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma and individual courses for IB Certificates.
Stuart High School is committed to providing students with a high quality learning experience in an up-to-date physical plant equipped with state-of-the-art technology. It has a rich history of high levels of student participation in curricular and co-curricular activities. Stuart is particularly proud of their award winning band, orchestra, and chorus. There are also many opportunities for students to give back to their community through activities such as Raider Readers and the Interact Club. In addition, the school enjoys the benefits of a dedicated energetic and highly active Parent Teacher Student Association, and partnerships with the Bailey’s Crossroads Rotary Club, Apple Credit Union, and the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA).
