Effective parent involvement is a focus. Three major school objectives have been identified by the Kent Gardens family. They are: (1) to improve student achievement in language arts with an emphasis on sentence development for primary grades and proofreading for upper grades; (2) to improve the mathematics achievement of students in mental mathematics estimation, applied problem solving, and data analysis; and (3) to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the communication of students and teachers through the use of innovative technology.
