All 139 elementary and 26 middle schools offer school-based Advanced Academic Services. There are 24 elementary schools that offer a Level IV Advanced Academic Program (formerly GT center): Belvedere, Bull Run, Canterbury Woods, Churchill Road, Clearview, Colvin Run, Forest Edge, Greenbriar West, Haycock, Hunters Woods, Keene Mill, Lorton Station, Louise Archer, Mantua, McNair, Mosby Woods, Oak Hill, Riverside, Sangster, Springfield Estates, Stratford Landing, Sunrise Valley, White Oaks, Willow Springs and 11 middle schools: Carson, Frost, Glasgow, Hughes, Kilmer, Lake Braddock, Longfellow, Luther Jackson, Rocky Run, Sandburg, Twain.
In addition, there are 36 elementary schools and one middle school offering the Local Level IV Advanced Academic Program for students from their school that are center eligible. These include: Aldrin, Annandale Terrace, Armstrong, Beech Tree, Braddock, Camelot, Cameron, Centreville, Chesterbrook, Clermont, Columbia, Crossfield, Fairview, Fairhill, Flint Hill, Floris, Forestville, Freedom Hill, Glen Forest, Great Falls, Lees Corner, Little Run, Marshall Road, Mason Crest, Oak View, Oakton, Parklawn, Powell, Silverbrook, Spring Hill, Timber Lane, Wakefield Forest, Washington Mill, Waynewood, Westlawn, and Wolftrap.
