Marshall Academy to Host Recruitment Event: A Taste of Marshall Academy 2012

Marshall Academy will kick off recruitment season by hosting an academy-wide event called A Taste of Marshall Academy 2012 on Thursday, December 13. This invitation-only event hosts counselors, employment transition representatives (ETRs), and English for speakers of other languages (ESOL) department chairs who work with high school students who may be interested in attending Marshall Academy.  Marshall Academy is one of six high school academies in Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS).

The invited counselors, ETRs, and ESOL department chairs are from feeder high schools including Cedar Lane School and Falls Church, Langley, Madison, Marshall, McLean, Oakton, and Stuart High Schools.

Participants will learn about academy programs by participating in hands-on activities led by Marshall Academy instructors and students. The event also includes fine dining in Culinary Art’s 5 Star Café, an academy ambassador student panel, and tour.

Marshall Academy specializes in International Studies and Business and Engineering and Scientific Technology and is located at 7731 Leesburg Pike in the Falls Church area of Fairfax County.
