Wednesday, June 27, 2012 FCPS Students Earn Awards at National TSA Conference More than 28 Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) middle and high school students won awards at the National Technology Student Association (TSA) Conference, held recently in Nashville.
Also winning awards at the middle school level were: · Pranay Singh of Carson Middle School, second place in Career Prep and sixth place in Essays on Technology.
· Thuy-vi Nguyen of Frost Middle School, second place in Essays on Technology.
· Deanna Meyer of Robinson Secondary School, second place in Transportation Systems.
· Asha Krishnakumar of Frost Middle School, third place in Career Prep and tenth place in Communication Challenge.
· Carson Middle School team, third place in Construction Challenge.
· Rohan Pandit of Carson Middle School, third place in Tech Bowl (written).
· Raksha Pothapragada of Carson Middle School, fourth place in Communication Challenge.
· Sashank Thupukari of Carson Middle School, fourth place in Electrical Applications and fifth place in Tech Bowl (written).
· Shawn Jassal of Franklin Middle School, fifth place in Career Prep.
· Carson Middle School team, fifth place in Leadership Strategies.
· Truman Heberle of Franklin Middle School, fifth place in Technical Design.

· West Springfield High School team, third place in Manufacturing Prototype.
· Angela Roller of West Springfield High School, fourth place in Extemporaneous Speech.
· Woodson High School team, seventh place in Fashion Design.
