FCPS to Hold Information Meetings About Potential Boundary Changes

Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) will hold three information meetings for parents, residents, and property owners as part of the Fairfax County School Board’s study of attendance areas designed to provide relief to Annandale High School and Poe Middle School, both of which are overcrowded. The meetings will be held on:

  • Monday, April 27, at 7 p.m., at Falls Church High School, 7521 Jaguar Trail in the Falls Church area of Fairfax County.
  • Tuesday, April 28, at 7 p.m. at Annandale High School, 4700 Medford Drive in Annandale.
  • Wednesday, April 29, at 7 p.m. at Lake Braddock Secondary School, 9200 Burke Lake Road in Burke.

Questions may be submitted in advance via e-mail to boundaries@fcps.edu. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions at these information meetings.

The School Board will conduct a public hearing for this study on Wednesday, June 3, at 6 p.m. at Jackson Middle School, 3020 Gallows Road, in the Falls Church area of Fairfax County. The speakers list for this public hearing opens on Friday, May 15.
